Degani Forest Hill is seeking an experienced casual barista to join our team in a busy, high-volume café located at Forest Hill Chase.
This role offers approximately 16–24 hours per week and requires availability for early morning and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso-based beverages
- Adjust and dial in the grinder when required
- Produce consistent milk texture and coffee presentation
- Manage multiple coffee orders efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked coffee station
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
About you
- At least two years of recent barista experience in a busy café
- Confident working independently on a high-volume coffee station
- Strong espresso preparation and milk-texturing skills
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team
- Available for early morning and weekend shifts
- Valid Australian working rights
What we offer
- Casual employment with approximately 16–24 hours per week
- $33.85–$36 per hour, depending on experience and Award classification
- Applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates
