Experienced Café Chef – Bloomora Café, Beenleigh

Bloomora Café is looking for an experienced and motivated Café Chef to join our growing team in Beenleigh.

We’re ready to take our food offering to the next level and are looking for someone who can bring experience, ideas and consistency to our kitchen.

About the Role

This is more than just a cooking position. We want someone who can work with us to improve and develop our café menu, introduce dishes that customers will come back for, and help grow our breakfast and lunch trade.

You’ll be responsible for

- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes
- Helping develop and improve our café menu
- Bringing new ideas for popular, practical and profitable dishes
- Maintaining consistent presentation, portion sizes and quality
- Managing food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Monitoring stock, wastage and food costs
- Maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting catering and high tea preparation when required

About You We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience working as a chef or experienced cook in a busy café
- Has solid breakfast and lunch service experience
- Understands modern Australian café food
- Can work independently and confidently manage a kitchen




- Has good knowledge of food costs, portion control and reducing wastage
- Is creative and enjoys developing new dishes
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in presentation
- Can handle a fast-paced service without compromising quality

Location: Bloomora Café, Beenleigh QLD

Hours: Mainly daytime café hours

Pay: Competitive and based on experience
