TQM is a Tasmanian meat processing and export business. We're looking for an experienced administrator to manage day-to-day export documentation, freight coordination, and stock control across our domestic and international customer base (including China, USA, and EU markets).
This is a fast-paced, detail-critical role — you'll be the point of contact tying together production, freight and documentation to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day freight and logistics bookings for domestic and export shipments, including scheduling load-outs and liaising with carriers and transport providers
- Prepare and process accurate export documentation for international markets (including China, USA, and EU), ensuring compliance with destination requirements within strict shipping timeframes
- Maintain accurate stock and order forecasting, keeping systems and spreadsheets updated in real time as orders are placed and fulfilled
- Manage inbound and outbound movements
- Process invoices and freight equalisation claims across multiple business systems, ensuring accuracy and timely entry under recurring deadline pressure
- Enter and track customer orders through to dispatch, working closely with production and warehouse teams
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and resolving issues quickly, often while managing multiple urgent tasks at once
- Participate in weekly planning meetings to align forecasting and shipping schedules with upcoming demand
- Support broader export compliance and administrative functions as required, frequently balancing several time-critical priorities in a single day
What We're Looking For
- Experience in export administration, freight/logistics coordination, or supply chain admin — meat, agriculture, or FMCG industry experience highly regarded
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple daily deadlines
- Confident working across spreadsheets and multiple business systems
- Clear communicator, comfortable liaising with multiple departments
- Confident working autonomously with minimal supervision, and takes initiative to identify and resolve issues without waiting to be asked
- Able to perform well under pressure and stay on top of competing priorities and tight deadlines
