Senior Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse - Community Aged Care - North Brisbane

Do you have solid experience as a Community RN/Clinician working in Community Aged Care and looking for a role to get off the floor into a more office based position?

n

This role would be ideal for someone who likes mentoring and educating staff.

Overview

n

Head Office based role – North Brisbane (hybrid options once embedded into the role)

n

Full time role – Monday-Friday

n

This role doesn't have any direct reports so no management duties involved

n

No-on call duties

n

Reporting and working closely alongside the Quality Manager (who is fantastic and very down to earth!)

n

Aged Care Community experience is ESSENTIAL (residential aged care experience won't be considered)

n

A little bit of travel now and then to deliver training to staff (occasional 2-day visit to different locations but not very often)

n

$110k-$115k + super

n

Brief Overview of Duties

n





Providing coaching and mentoring to individuals and groups of staff

n

Act as a mentor and give direction to the RN's and Clinical Coordinators across the business

n

Data analysis, creating and updating policies, procedures and processes

n

Ability to identify and manage risks

n

Requirements

n

AHPRA Registered Nurse required

n

7+ years as an RN in Australia

n

At least 5+ years as an RN in Community Aged Care / Home Care - ESSENTIAL

n

Recent knowledge of the changes to SAH

n

Solid clinical judgement required

n

Experience with developing policies, procedures and clinical programs - highly desirable

n

Aged Care Community experience is ESSENTIAL (residential aged care experience won't be considered)

n

Experience being able to coach and mentor staff

n

Rapid-paced role so you will need the ability to multi tasks

n

You must be IT Savvy to support developing and maintaining the Electronic Client Health Records and web-based applications.
