✅ Work with a respected and supportive team culture The OpportunityAs a Fire Electrician, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, fault finding and repair of a wide range of fire systems across commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure sites throughout Perth.
You'll play a vital role in helping protect lives, assets and businesses by ensuring fire safety systems operate at the highest standard and remain compliant with Australian Standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesYou'll be involved in:
- Installation, programming, fault finding and repairs of fire detection systems, fire panels and EWIS systems
- Installation, modification and maintenance of:
- FDCIE
- EWCIE
- FFCP systems
- Pump interface equipment
- Emergency and exit lighting
- Auxiliary service interfaces
- Integration with BMS and HVAC control systems
- Conducting site surveys and recommending compliant fire protection solutions
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently
- Completing service reports, maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately
- Participating in an on-call roster and attending emergency call-outs when required
- Building strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment to a high standard
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications & Licences
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Current WA Electrical Workers Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Highly Desirable
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing
- Previous fire detection / EWIS experience
- Experience with fire detection and EWIS systems
- Emergency Alarm & Evacuation training
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards relating to fire systems
- Working at Heights
- EWP <11m licence
- EWP high-risk licence
- Experience with commercial fire panels and fault finding

Experience
- Minimum 5 years' field experience, ideally within the fire protection industry
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing and commissioning fire protection systems
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Commitment to safety, compliance and quality workmanship
