? The Opportunity
In this varied and highly rewarding role, you'll become the trusted technical authority on electrical fire detection and warning systems. You'll help design educational materials, host industry webinars, provide high-level technical advice and train the next generation of fire protection professionals. You don't need a training qualification to start — we fund and support your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) once you join.
? What You'll Do
- Share your deep knowledge of fire detection and warning systems by running training courses, seminars and webinars.
- Develop and update modern, industry-relevant educational materials and assessments for detection and warning systems.
- Provide direct student support and mark assessments.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to the wider fire protection industry on electrical fire detection and warning systems.
? Your Technical Expertise
Your foundational expertise must be in fire detection and warning systems design or certification. Beyond design and certification, we'd love to see practical experience in one or more of the following:
- Fire systems design for detection and warning systems.
- Fire systems certification.
- Fire safety assessments and annual certification.
- Routine inspection and testing of systems and equipment.
- Mechanical smoke management systems.
If you're a design or certification expert with a solid working knowledge of a few of these other areas, we highly encourage you to apply!
