Forklift Operator - Long Product Loading

About the Role

H People is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a day shift role based in Richlands.

This is not your average loader position. You'll be handling long, oversized product that requires precision, strong spatial awareness, and confidence operating in tight environments. If you're used to moving pallets all day — this role is different.

We need someone who understands balance, weight distribution, and safe load restraint when dealing with extended-length materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in warehouse and production areas
- Load and unload long and oversized product from trucks and storage areas
- Position and secure extended-length materials with accuracy
- Work confidently in confined spaces and around obstacles
- Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures
- Assist with inventory control and material tracking
- Keep work areas clean and organised
- Work closely with the night shift team to meet dispatch deadlines





What We're Looking For
- Proven forklift experience (warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred)
- Robust experience loading long or oversized products (essential)
- Valid LF Forklift Licence
- High level of safety awareness
- Ability to handle heavy and awkward loads
- Reliable and comfortable working permanent night shift (Sunday-Thursday)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Must have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Team-focused with clear communication skills
