ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking experienced Forklift Storeman for an ASAP start with a food distribution warehouse in Villawood, NSW. We are recruiting for Morning Shift position. This is an ongoing Monday-to-Friday role offering full-time hours, long-term stability, and the opportunity to join a busy and growing operation.

This role will involve a combination of mainly RF scanning picking on a electric pallet rider in freezer environment, forklift operation and general warehouse duties, making it ideal for operators who are comfortable working both on and off the forklift.

⏰ Shifts Available: Day Shift Shift 7:30am starts

? DAY shift: $35ph + $1.69ph + Overtime + Super

? Start: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operating high-reach forklifts safely and efficiently within freezer environment 10%
- Pick packing orders in freezer environment 90%
- Receiving and dispatching stock




- Stock replenishment and inventory movements
- Highreach operations
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
- Supporting food distribution operations
- Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

ABOUT YOU

You are a reliable and experienced forklift operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is comfortable combining forklift work with warehouse duties. To be successful, you must have:

✅ Current LF Forklift Licence

✅ Minimum 1 year High Reach Forklift experience

✅ Experience within freezer logistics, warehouse operations, and/or distribution environments

✅ Ability to start ASAP and work full time hours

✅ Strong safety awareness and work ethic

✅ Comfortable with pick packing and general warehouse duties

✅ Strong teamwork and communication skills
