Community Support Workers (Female at Client request)

Subee PL' is seeking Female Community Support Workers at Client request for early morning starts from 6.00am to join our team on a part-time basis in Newcastle, NSW. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our aged and disabled clients by providing personalized care and support that enables them to live independently in their own homes.

What you'll be doing

n

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

n

Providing social and emotional support, companionship, and engaging clients in recreational activities

n

Helping clients access the community and participate in social events

n

Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals

n

Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

n

Adhering to organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

n

What we're looking for

n

A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

n

Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar community services role

n

Minimum 6-12 months of experience in aged care or disability support is required

n





Solid communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients

n

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, reliable, punctual and committed to permanent work.

n

First aid certification and a valid driver's licence and motor vehicle.

n

Australian work rights are required for this position and females preferred as per client requests.

n

Working with Children Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check is required
