Spray Seal Spreader Driver Alex Fraser Asphalt is a progressive asphalt provider servicing commercial and residential customers across south-east Queensland. We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join the AFA Spray Seal team as a Seal Driver located in Narangba, QLD, with jobs in and around the greater Brisbane area.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Speader Driver to assist in various sealing projects throughout the Brisbane area.

n

This role involves working outdoors and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

n

Role Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist with the preparation and sealing of asphalt surfaces.
n
- Operate machinery and tools related to asphalt sealing.
n
- Truck spotting.
n
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team.
n
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
n
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Previous experience in asphalt work or construction is an advantage but not required.
n
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
n
- Solid physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
n
- Basic understanding of safety practices in construction.
n
- Valid driver's license.
n
- HC licence is advantageous, HR is required.
n




- Roller ticker is advantageous.

- Base hourly rate from $32, pending experience, plus penalty rates, plus super.

- Working 8 – 12-hour shifts.
n
- Day shift 6am – 6pm, night shift 6pm – 6am.
