About the Role
n
Working as part of the recycling and sorting team, you will be responsible for identifying and sorting recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt while ensuring contaminants and non-recyclable materials are removed.
n
This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone comfortable working on their feet and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

- Sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
n
- Identifying and removing contaminants and non-recyclable items
n
- Placing recyclable materials into the correct chutes or bins
n
- Performing general site labouring duties
n
- Assisting with housekeeping and maintaining site cleanliness
n
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and protected
n
- Following all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
n
- Working effectively as part of a team
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- Previous recycling, labouring, manufacturing or warehouse experience highly regarded
n
- Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods
n
- Comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
n
- Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Ability to work Monday-Friday consistently
