Area Manager - Early Childhood

Are you an experienced leader in Early Childhood Education looking for your next challenge?

We're seeking an Area Manager to oversee and support a portfolio of Early Childhood Education and Care services across the Newcastle, Maitland area. This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation where you can make a genuine impact on service quality, team engagement, and operational performance. About the Role As Area Manager, you'll provide leadership and support to Centre Directors and their teams, ensuring services operate successfully while maintaining high standards of education, compliance, and family engagement.

Key responsibilities:

- Leading and mentoring Centre Directors across multiple services
- Supporting operational performance and occupancy growth
- Ensuring compliance with National Quality Standards and relevant legislation
- Driving team engagement, retention, and professional development
- Building strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and local communities
- Monitoring budgets, performance metrics, and service outcomes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across your region

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a multi-site leadership or Area Manager role within Early Childhood Education
- Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations
- Excellent leadership, coaching,



and people management skills
- The ability to build solid relationships and influence positive outcomes
- A current Working With Children Check, Diploma or ECT qualified
