We have an immediate requirement for a Cost Controller to support project cost control activities across major rail infrastructure projects, including stations and facilities.

This is a contract role going until end of Jan 2027 with the chance for extension, offering a hybrid working arrangement.

Roles and Responsibilities
n

- Update project cost estimates, budgets, change requests, and forecasts
n
- Monitor project costs and update existing cost estimation rate tables in Excel
n
- Verify the quality of cost related data feeding various cost/financial reports
n
- Monitor project cost performance by conducting earned value analysis
n
- Ensure effective communication of budgetary details, expenditures, forecasts, and project progress to management, facilitating informed decision-making
n

Skills and Requirements
n
n
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or similar would be beneficial
n
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Cost Controller or similar (e.g.
Finance Officer, Project Accountant, Cost Advisor etc.)
