As a Vegetation Worker / Chipper Operator, you will work alongside experienced crew members on a powerline contract. The work is outdoors and physically active, involving ground-based tree and vegetation work, operating and feeding wood chippers, branch and debris removal, site clean-up and general labouring. You will work around roadside and powerline vegetation management operations, travelling to different work sites across Sydney and NSW.

Key responsibilities

Ground-based tree and vegetation work

Operating and feeding wood chippers

Branch and debris removal

n

Site clean-up and general labouring

n

Assisting chainsaw operators and qualified vegetation workers

n

Setting up and maintaining protected work areas

n

Loading and unloading tools and equipment

n

Daily maintenance and checks of equipment

n

Travelling to different work sites across Sydney and NSW

n
