Driveline Services Australia is looking for an experienced Fitter Turner / Machinist to join our growing Acacia Ridge team.

What you'll be doing

n

As a Fitter Turner / Machinist, you'll be an important part of our workshop team, working on a wide range of drivetrain and driveshaft components used across industries including mining, transport, agriculture and heavy equipment.

Your day-to-day work will include:

n

- Disassembly, inspection and rebuild of drivetrain components
n
- Driveshaft repair, assembly, manufacturing and balancing
n
- Working on light vehicles and heavy machinery components
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
n
- Working with the team to keep jobs moving efficiently
n
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
n

What you'll bring

n

We're looking for someone who is reliable, skilled and takes pride in their work.

Ideal candidates will have:

n

n
- Experience in fitting, machining or mechanical work
n




- Experience operating lathes, machining equipment, or MIG welding (highly regarded)
n
- Trade qualification in Fitting & Turning, Machining, Mechanical Fitter or similar
n
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
- A strong commitment to safety
