Lead Solution Architect for a well‑known ASX listed Australian company. Multi‑year day‑rate contract from 6 months, with potential extensions. Base rate 1100–1130+Super per day. Hybrid working: 3 days office in Sydney CBD, 2 days remote.
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in architecting modern and legacy solutions across application, integration, data, infrastructure and security domains.
- End‑to‑end solution architecture skill set.
- Excellent design documentation skills.
- Experience working with third‑party service suppliers/vendors.
- Strong ability to influence decisions and negotiate solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a large‑scale organisation.
- Experience in a change environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management and frameworks.
- Excellent prioritisation skills and proven ability to achieve deadlines.
- Experience building solutions based on Azure and/or AWS.
What you'll be doing
- Defining, developing and delivering IT solutions in line with the enterprise architecture strategy.
- Working closely with enterprise architecture teams, delivery teams and IT vendors.
- Delivering solutions as part of the IT enterprise architecture roadmap.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure project scope and designs are aligned.
- Reviewing business cases for current projects.
- Providing high‑level solution designs for project delivery teams to execute.
- Working with and providing technical leadership to third‑party service suppliers/vendors.
