CSK Mechanical and Marine Engineering is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Marine Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical faults in heavy diesel engines and marine propulsion systems
- Performing preventative maintenance schedules and servicing on diesel engines, gearboxes, and associated marine equipment
- Conducting repairs and overhauls of engine components, including cylinders, pistons, bearings, and fuel injection systems
- Testing and commissioning repaired equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
- Maintaining detailed maintenance logs and technical documentation for all work undertaken
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to understand operational requirements and prioritise maintenance tasks
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times
- Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members where applicable

What we're looking for

- Formal qualifications in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or Marine Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with heavy diesel engines and marine propulsion systems
- Strong knowledge of marine engineering standards and practices, including IMO regulations where applicable
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment relevant to diesel engine servicing and repair
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical work
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexibly, including potential offshore or remote site work




- Robust communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to safely perform manual handling and labour-intensive tasks
- Current or ability to obtain relevant safety certifications (such as confined space, scaffolding, or marine-specific certifications)

Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
