We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic to join our team
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivated Diesel Mechanic's looking for stable, long-term employment, great pay and a company vehicle.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining a range of heavy plant, earthmoving and diesel equipment, ensuring machinery is safe, reliable and operating at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service and repair heavy plant and diesel machinery
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Complete breakdown repairs efficiently
- Conduct inspections and identify potential issues
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic
- Previous experience with heavy plant, earthmoving or construction equipment
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable, skilled and hardworking attitude
