We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Oracle EBS Functional Specialist to join our team in Brisbane or Toowoomba in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between our business requirements and our technical systems, focusing on the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 modules.

About the Role

n

n
- Module Ownership: Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle EBS R12 modules: Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Inventory Management (INV), Work in Progress and Bill of Materials.
n
- Warehouse & Inventory Control: Support warehousing operations by optimizing inventory movements, sub-inventory setups, cycle counting, material management and material transactions within EBS.
n
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse managers to document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams.
n
- Testing & Implementation: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test scripts, and support system upgrades, patches, or new module implementations.
n
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Tier 2/3 functional support to resolve complex issues related to procurement, warehouse management, Material Resource Planning, Work in Progress, Bill of Materials.

- Training: Develop documentation and support end-users to ensure high adoption and correct system usage.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

n

n
- Oracle Expertise: Proven functional experience with Oracle EBS R12. Knowledge of the integration points between PO, Supplier modules, and Inventory is essential.
n
- Procurement: Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Blanket Purchase Agreements, and Approval Hierarchies domain knowledge.
n
- Supplier Management: Supplier registration,



Site creation and process of supplier creation through to Purchase Order issuing domain knowledge.
n
- Warehousing/SCM: Inventory management, shipping/receiving, material planning, cycle counting and warehouse movements domain knowledge.
n
- Australian citizen with the ability and willingness to apply for an AGSVA clearance.
n

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

n

n
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users.
n
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies (e.g., "Receipts not matching Purchase Order received amounts").
n
- Experience with Oracle WMS (Warehouse Management System) and Procurement modules.
n
- Familiarization with SQL/PLSQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
n
- Experience in a Manufacturing and Maintenance environment.
n
- Previous experience participating in an Oracle implementation, upgrade or significant enhancement project.
n
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
