EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker supporting our Accommodation SIL Houses across the Centra Coast region and our Home & Community program, we are looking for passionate, empathetic Support Workers with a can-do attitude and positive growth mindset to join our vibrant team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) team.

About the role
n
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include:
n
n
- Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
n
- Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
n
- Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans)
n
- Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
- A passion for empowering people with disability
n
- A can-do attitude and growth mindset - you're open to learning and ready to make a difference
n
- NSW Driver's Licence (minimum of P2 or above)
n
- Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
n
- Availability for a minimum of 3 full days per week (15-20+ hours)
n
- Availability across a variety of shift times, including:n n
- Early mornings (6am - 9am)
n
- Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
n
- Afternoons & evenings
n
- Awake overnights (10pm-6am)
n
n
- The ability to travel to our multiple locations across the Central Coast region (Wyong, Long Jetty, and Umina)
n
n

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. We invest $5,000 in training in your first year

- CPA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90213).

We offer fully funded nationally recognised qualifications including:

- CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support
n
- Ongoing specialist training and skill development
