Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will provide administrative and operational support across all areas of HR, helping to ensure our people processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibiities
n
n
- Provide administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee lifecycle activities.
n
- Coordinate new employee inductions and onboarding documentation.
n
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
n
- Assist with recruitment activities including advertising, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and reference checking.
n
- Support the preparation of employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation.
n
- Assist managers and employees with HR-related enquiries.
n
- Coordinate training records and compliance requirements.
n
- Support payroll administration by ensuring personnel records and documentation are accurate and current.
n
- Assist with workers compensation, return-to-work, and WHS administration where required.
n
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and company events.
n
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
n
- The successful applicant will be based in our Macksville Operation but will be required to regularly attend our Coffs Harbour Branch.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
- Previous administration experience, ideally within Human Resources or a similar office environment.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
- Certificate III or IV in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
n
- Previous experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
n
- Knowledge of Fair Work legislation and up-to-date awards.
n
