About The Company

n

Our client builds roads, subdivisions, service stations and community infrastructure right across Queensland — from the south east to the far north, out west, and into the places most contractors won't go. They're after a Site Supervisor who can take a job, a crew and a set of drawings, and make it happen.

About The Chance

n

The primary purpose of this position is to run one site at a time and own everything that happens on it — the crew, the plant, the weekly program, and the quality that gets handed over. Some of your responsibilities will include:

n

- Planning and running the daily works — crew, plant, materials and set-out
n
- Running prestarts and toolbox talks, and keeping safety systems current
n
- Managing quality on the ground — ITPs, hold points and conformance
n
- Coordinating subcontractors — traffic control, kerbing, asphalt and fencing
n




- Keeping paperwork straight — diaries, plant hours, dockets and variations
n

n

About You

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- A current Queensland driver's licence and Construction White Card
n
- Solid supervisory experience on civil sites with a contractor
n
- Subdivision experience — earthworks, drainage, kerb and channel, roadworks
n
- TMR project experience — MRTS specifications, ITPs and lot conformance
n
- Genuine safety leadership and hands-on plant capability when needed
n

Highly regarded:

n

n
- HR licence, machine tickets, first aid or traffic control awareness
n
- Trade background — plant operator, pipelayer or roadworks
n
- Service station construction — tank pits, footings and forecourt slabs
n
- Remote, island or wet-season project experience
n
