Mt Coolum Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located at the foot of the iconic Mount Coolum on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. Renowned for its picturesque setting and quality playing conditions, the Club is a popular destination for both members and public golfers.
n We are seeking an energetic, reliable and committed Groundsperson/Greenkeeper to join our Course Maintenance Team on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operation, cleaning and basic maintenance of a wide range of golf course machinery and equipment
n
- Maintenance and monitoring of irrigation systems
n




- Application of chemicals and fertilisers in accordance with relevant requirements
n
- Daily golf course set-up
n
- General maintenance and housekeeping of workshop and maintenance areas
n
- Rubbish collection and removal
n
- General course and grounds maintenance
n
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation across the course and surrounds
n
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the Course Maintenance Team
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

n
- Reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
n
- Well organised with a strong attention to detail
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
n
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking the requirements of the role
n
- Available to work early morning shifts, including weekdays and weekends
n
- Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a high standard of work
n

Ideally, You Will Have

n

n
- Previous experience in golf course or grounds maintenance, or a similar role
n
- ACDC/chemical application licence
n
- Chainsaw licence
n
- Good knowledge of turf and grounds maintenance machinery
n
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems
n
- A genuine interest in golf course presentation and maintenance
n
