Open Cut Mine Pump Operator within an organization involved with the management and maintenance of wastewater programs in a mining setting in the Singleton area.

- Lifestyle roster - runs 7 days a week (4 on - 5 off -5 on -4 off) from 6am to 6pm (12hr shift) OR Monday to Friday (9 hr shift). Day shift only.
- Weekends and Public Holidays are included in the roster & paid accordingly.
- All penalty rates payable for work over 7 hours Monday to Friday and days worked on the weekend.
- Job will initially be for a 3-month trial period during which you will work Monday to Friday. You will be permanent if you pass the trial.
- Pump training and all relevant mine site training will be provided on the job.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated willingness and capacity to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role.




- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in the outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A condition of employment is that you possess a current driver’s license.
- Have reasonable communication skills (written and verbal).
- Have knowledge of and commitment to OH&S.;
- Ability to comply with current / ongoing Drug & Alcohol requirements.
- Willingness to undergo an Order 45 Coal Services Health Medical.
- Knowledge / experience with large volume electric and diesel pumping systems.
- Recent open cut mine experience.
- Current poly welding ticket with experience in poly welding.
- HR driving licence would be an advantage.
