Based out of Brisbane, this role focuses on the maintenance and upgrade of existing Water Treatment Plants at municipal (government) and industrial sites. You’ll be on the road – visiting a variety of sites throughout Queensland; from cities and towns and remote regional locations too!
- Install, service, repair and upgrade water treatment systems, including filtration systems, disinfection equipment, pumps, valves, and other components.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks, inspections, and performance tests on water treatment systems to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs, provide technical advice, and offer recommendations for improving system performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment maintenance logs, service reports, and client communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide informed technical support and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Embrace and champion safety on-site to prevent accidents and promote a safe work workplace.

SUCCESS PROFILE:
- Proven experience as a Service Technician, preferably in the water industry or a similar field
- Chorine gas experience (highly sought after)
- Strong knowledge of drinking water treatment systems, including various filtration methods, disinfection techniques, and water quality parameters is also desirable but not essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a natural ability to troubleshoot.
- Exceptional customer focus and communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Valid driver’s license
