A detail-oriented and empathic Funeral Arranger/Office Administrator. This is a key role responsible for guiding families through the funeral arrangement process with professionalism, care and compassion. The role requires flexibility and commitment to after hours, weekend and on-call work.
Key responsibilities
Answering incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.
Liaise with families, suppliers and internal staff to coordinate funeral arrangements.
Book funeral services, venues, vehicles and associated logistics.
Prepare and check funeral service paperwork.
Register and manage related documentation with Government authorities.
Participate in the after hours and weekend on-call roster.
You may be required to assist with the physical requirements of the role including lifting, transferring, and moving of the deceased.
About you
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
High level of professionalism and empathy with grieving families.
Excellent communication and organisational skills including time management.
Robust knowledge of Microsoft suite and Google platforms.
All round office skills.
Possess a current drivers licence.
