Working closely with the Sydney Project Manager and Site Foreman, as well as the production and administration team in Wagga Wagga, you will help keep Sydney projects organised and moving. This is not a desk-only position. You will enjoy variety, keep multiple jobs organised, communicate well with both tradespeople and office staff, and be equally comfortable updating a schedule as jumping in a vehicle to collect hardware or deliver materials to site.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with the Project Manager and Site Foreman regarding current and upcoming Sydney projects
- Working closely with the Wagga Wagga team to keep the company scheduling system accurate and up to date
- Checking the status and readiness of upcoming installations
- Following up outstanding information, materials and deliveries
- Coordinating glass, aluminium, hardware and other requirements for upcoming jobs
- Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, availability and collections
- Picking up and delivering hardware, fittings and materials throughout Sydney
- Collecting and delivering smaller glass panels where required
- Making urgent site deliveries when something is required to keep a job moving
- Communicating changes, delays and site requirements between Sydney and Wagga Wagga
About you
Exceptionally organised and reliable
Practical and comfortable working around construction sites
Able to work independently and use initiative
Confident dealing with tradespeople, suppliers and office staff
Comfortable using computer-based scheduling and administration systems
Good at following things up and closing the loop
Able to prioritise when several things need attention at once
Happy with a role that combines office coordination with being out on the road and attending sites
Willing to pitch in and help when required
Current driver's licence and White Card required
About us
BlackWidow Australia is a commercial glazing company delivering glass and aluminium projects throughout Sydney. Our business is expanding, and this is a newly created position designed to strengthen the link between our Sydney projects and our production and administration operations in Wagga Wagga.
$35 per hour plus super, depending on experience
Approximately 20–24 hours per week initially, with additional hours available as the business continues to grow
