Are you a TYW ready to step up, gain leadership experience and learn new skills? Don't miss this exciting short-term full-time opportunity! Lead a home. Support a team. Change young lives.

Looking for a role where you can step up, lead from the front and still have a genuine connection with the young people you're supporting?

This is more than managing a house

If you've worked in residential care or OOHC, you'll know the pressure that can come with balancing the needs of young people, supporting staff and keeping on top of everything happening around the home.

You'll lead day-to-day operations, guide Residential Support Workers and work closely with Case Workers and Therapeutic Specialists to create consistency for the young people in your care.

You'll still be hands-on too. With 36 hours each week of direct support, you won't be stuck behind a desk or removed from the reason you got into this work in the first place.

Perks to you

- Access salary packaging to help you get more from your pay
- Step into a hands-on leadership role
- Build your leadership skills within therapeutic care
- Stay connected through direct work with young people
- Access ongoing therapeutic and leadership development

The role

- Lead the day-to-day operation of an ITC home

- Support young people through trauma-informed care

- Guide, coach and support Residential Support Workers

- Coordinate care with internal and external stakeholders

- Keep the home safe, compliant and running smoothly

About you

- Hold a Diploma in Child,

Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent

- Have 2+ years' experience in residential care or OOHC

- Understand the PSP, therapeutic care and child protection requirements

- Hold a current First Aid Certificate and NSW Working With Children Check

- Hold an unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and meet background check requirements
