Lowe Lippmann Chartered Accountants is a firm based in St Kilda Road Melbourne. Located at the St Kilda end close to the Chapel Street Precinct with public transport nearby.
A firm of almost 100 staff offering Accountancy, Audit and Insolvency services amongst its offerings.
Due to changes within the firm, we are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to assist the Practice Manager.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Draft and post ads for roles open
- Coordinate communication and documentation with agencies
- Review resumes, filter candidates, coordinate screening
- Schedule interviews and manage communication with candidates, Practice Manager and Partners
- Prepare employment contracts, communications around offers
- Onboarding and offboarding planning and completion
- Maintain and manage HR records and keep up to date
- Assist Practice Manager oversee payroll preparation
- Assist with review cycles to distribute relevant packages and update correspondence for changes
- Organise office functions and activities
- Promote a positive and inclusive culture and encourage ongoing staff training and development programs
- Administration tasks as needed
- Assist Practice Manager as needed
About you:
- Prior experience as an HR Coordinator
- Understanding of Australian HR and employment legislation
- Prior experience in an Accounting or Legal practice is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Have solid focus on time management and attention to detail
- Positive and proactive in approach
- Maintain and understand the importance of confidentiality
