Unite Resourcing is currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support a major Oil & Gas / LNG turnaround project in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
This is a project-based chance supporting specialist works during a major LNG turnaround. We are looking for an HSE professional who is comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-risk operational environment alongside supervisors, technicians and project management.
Rate & Project Details
Rate: $80.00 per hour + Super
Location: Pilbara, WA
Project Duration: September – November 2026
Candidates should ideally be available for the following project swings:

Fly Out: 16 October 2026

Fly In: 29 October 2026
Fly Out: 14 November 2026
The Role You will provide hands-on HSE support throughout mobilisation, equipment commissioning, testing and operational activities associated with the delivery of specialist services during the LNG turnaround.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day HSE support to site personnel and supervisors
- Conducting site inspections, audits and safety observations
- Facilitating pre-starts, toolbox meetings and HSE discussions
- Reviewing and supporting JHAs/JSA, risk assessments and SWMS
- Monitoring compliance with site, client and legislative HSE requirements
- Supporting incident and hazard reporting and investigations
- Identifying hazards and ensuring appropriate controls are implemented
- Supporting high-risk work activities within an operational LNG environment
- Maintaining HSE documentation, reporting and project records
- Working closely with supervisors, technicians, project management and client representatives
- Promoting a proactive and positive safety culture throughout the project
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HSE Advisor / Safety Advisor
- Oil & Gas, LNG, shutdown or turnaround experience highly regarded
- Relevant WHS/OHS qualification
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS requirements and site safety systems
- Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations and HSE reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced FIFO project environment
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to complete required pre-employment and site mobilisation requirements
- Full Australian working rights
Previous experience working on major LNG facilities or large-scale Oil & Gas turnaround projects will be highly regarded.
