About KALACC
Kimberley Aboriginal Law and Culture Centre (KALACC) is the Kimberley region’s peak Aboriginal Law and Culture organisation. Based in Fitzroy Crossing, KALACC works across the Kimberley to support the maintenance, promotion and continuation of Aboriginal culture, Law and traditions through cultural, community and intergenerational programs and activities.
The Position
KALACC is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and manage the organisation’s human resource function. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and senior management, the position will be responsible for workforce planning, HR strategy and policy, recruitment and retention, employee relations, performance management and employment compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and implement organisation-wide human resource strategies,
policies and workforce plans aligned with KALACC’s operational and cultural objectives.
- Lead recruitment, selection, induction and retention strategies to maintain a capable and culturally appropriate workforce across KALACC’s programs and operations.
- Manage employee and industrial relations, including employment conditions, performance management, grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
- Develop and oversee staff performance, training, career development and succession planning initiatives to strengthen organisational capability.
- Advise the CEO and senior management on workforce structure, remuneration, employment legislation and strategic HR matters, ensuring KALACC’s HR practices remain compliant and effective.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
