ANMF Tasmania is currently investing in new systems, improving workforce processes and strengthening the way we support our people. The Human Resources Officer will play a key role in helping coordinate these improvements while maintaining the day-to-day HR functions that keep the organisation running effectively.

Success in this role comes from initiative, organisation and follow-through.

You'll be managing competing priorities, keeping critical HR processes moving, supporting managers across the organisation, maintaining systems and records, coordinating recruitment and employee lifecycle activities, and helping ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

The role is challenging, fast-paced and varied. It will suit someone who enjoys bringing order to busy environments, takes pride in getting things done properly, and can balance multiple demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll help keep the organisation's people processes running smoothly and consistently. You'll coordinate workforce activities, maintain HR systems and records, support managers across the employee lifecycle, and ensure important HR, compliance and workforce administration tasks are completed accurately and on time. Key areas of responsibility include:

- Recruitment, onboarding, induction and offboarding
- Employment contracts and workforce documentation
- HR system administration and user support
- Workforce reporting, dashboards and KPIs
- Policy and procedure administration
- Training and development coordination
- Workplace Health and Safety administration
- Employee records management
- Compliance monitoring and reporting
- Culture, engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Continuous improvement of systems and processes

Essential Requirements

- A qualification in Human Resources

- Demonstrated experience in
- HR administration, people operations, business administration or a related field
- Maintaining workforce records, employment documentation and compliance requirements
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes

- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Employment Hero or a similar HR information system will be highly regarded.
