About Our Client Our client is an established integrated financial services advisory group, headquartered in Sydney and with locations nationwide. With a recent significant capital investment, the group is pursuing an ambitious growth and integration agenda, including a major HR transformation program. They are now looking for an Interim Senior Human Resources Business Partner, for a period of about 10 months.
The Role The key objective of this role is to lead the consultation for employees and stakeholders for the employee contract alignment program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for queries relating to the alignment process and is responsible for managing documentation and support individual changes.
Reporting into the Program Lead for the HRIS implementation, the Senior HRBP will partner closely with the transformation project team, payroll and broader people & culture to contribute to the design of supporting systems and processes as the group moves towards a single, aligned operating model.
This role carries genuine breadth of stakeholder engagement, working across the group's network to lead formal workplace consultation, manage change and communications, and guide people through the practical impacts on payroll, leave and entitlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact and the face of consultation for employees and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage individual and group consultation sessions, ensuring compliance with legislative and consultation obligations.
- Respond to and resolve queries from employees and people managers relating to the alignment process, escalating sensitive matters where required.
- Produce and issue letters and documentation to support individual changes to terms and conditions.
- Work closely with the change team to align messaging,
timing and communication plans across the business.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure changes to terms and conditions are accurately reflected and processed.
- Partner with People & Culture to manage employee relations matters and maintain consistency across the network.
- Maintain accurate records of consultation activity, queries and outcomes to support governance and reporting.
What You'll Bring
- Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor, with a strong background in employee consultation and change processes.
- Confident, empathetic communicator, comfortable being the face of a sensitive consultation process and managing difficult conversations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across a diverse, multi-site network of practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting HR change programs, including operating model changes and HRIS implementations.
- Practical understanding of the links between HR, Payroll and People & Culture functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing formal correspondence such as letters confirming changes to employment terms.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail when managing multiple concurrent queries and cases.
- Experience in a financial services or skilled services environment and/or experience with workday advantageous but not essential.
