About the Role CMV Farms is seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our growing pistachio orchard near Robinvale, Victoria.

Working alongside the Irrigation Manager, you will play a key role in operating and maintaining irrigation infrastructure, including pumps, filters, fertigation systems and soil moisture monitoring equipment. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to build valuable technical skills and a long-term career within a growing horticultural business.

The successful applicant will be required to work some weekends and shift work, including nights, when required throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities Operating and monitoring irrigation systems

Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on irrigation infrastructure

Monitoring soil moisture and assisting with irrigation scheduling

Operating pumps, filters and fertigation systems

Mixing fertilisers for injection through irrigation systems

Maintaining irrigation records and supporting safe work practices

Assisting with general farm operations as required About You

Candidates with trade, plumbing, maintenance or farming backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Irrigation experience is advantageous but not essential.

Forklift and chemical handling qualifications will be highly regarded. To be successful, you will have: Strong practical problem-solving skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn A strong commitment to safety

Typical earnings of $75,000-$85,000 per year plus super, depending on experience and seasonal hours worked
