Job Description

Cahill Transport is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Eastern Creek, Sydney operation, working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing our AM warehouse and forklift operations. You'll coordinate daily workloads, support the team on the floor and help keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

We're looking for someone with solid forklift, loading and warehouse experience who is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a shift. Previous team leader experience will be highly regarded, but we're also open to an experienced warehouse operator ready to step up into a leadership role.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Coordinating daily AM warehouse operations and allocating tasks and priorities across the team.
n
- Working hands-on with forklift loading and unloading as required.
n
- Ensuring outstanding work from the previous shift is completed.
n
- Monitoring workflow, freight handling and quality of work throughout the shift.
n
- Coordinating team breaks around operational requirements.
n
- Ensuring forklift pre-start checks and required safety inspections are completed.
n
- Checking manifests and warehouse documentation for accuracy and completion.
n
- Reporting freight, stock or equipment damage and loading or unloading issues.
n
- Maintaining a secure, clean and organised warehouse environment.
n




- Ensuring employees and external carriers follow site safety and operational procedures.

What You'll Bring

n

- Current LF Forklift Licence with hands-on loading and unloading experience.
n
- Experience in a transport, freight, logistics or warehouse environment.
n
- The ability to coordinate people, workloads and changing priorities.
n
- Good computer skills, with SAP experience preferred or a willingness to learn.
n
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to provide direction and support to a team.
n
- A practical, safety-focused approach to warehouse operations.

$33.00 per hour + $102.00 per week Leading Hand Allowance.

Overtime rates in accordance with the applicable Award.

Consistent Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm roster.
