Award: Stream B, Level 5: $56.56 per hour inclusive of superannuation & allowances
Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a highly motivated Resource Recovery Attendant to join their well-developed team providing exceptional customer service and waste management to the local community. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to undertake a range of labouring and maintenance duties at the Council’s waste facilities.
There is opportunity to work a rotating roster which allows for fantastic work life balance.
In This Busy Role, Your Daily Activities Will Include
- Providing excellent customer service to the public
- Undertaking physical tasks for the operation and maintenance of the waste transfer facilities
- Operating mobile plant equipment
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver’s license
- Commercial Operators Licence (or ability to obtain)
- General Construction Induction Card
- Statement of attainment/ticket for Front-End Loader and Self-Propelled Compactor (or ability to obtain)
- Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control (ACDC) accreditation (or ability to obtain)
