Consultant Psychiatrist – Adult ADHD | Fully Remote | Australia

We are exclusively representing an innovative healthcare provider seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Adult ADHD to join a rapidly growing clinical service in Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to move beyond a traditional high-volume clinical role and take on a position that combines patient care with clinical leadership, governance, and service development. You'll play a key role in shaping a modern, technology-enabled model of care while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to improving access to specialist mental health services.

The Opportunity

n

As the senior psychiatric lead, you will provide expert clinical oversight, support the development of best practice pathways, and contribute to the ongoing growth of a specialist ADHD service.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

- Conducting comprehensive assessments and confirming ADHD diagnoses in adult patients.
n
- Initiating and overseeing evidence-based treatment plans, including psycho stimulant prescribing where appropriate.
n
- Providing clinical leadership and governance across the service.
n
- Supporting and mentoring clinicians managing ongoing patient care.
n
- Reviewing complex presentations and providing specialist clinical guidance.
n
- Leading multidisciplinary case discussions to ensure consistently high standards of care.
n
- Contributing to clinical protocols, governance frameworks, and quality improvement initiatives.
n




- Working collaboratively with operational and compliance teams to maintain high regulatory and clinical standards.
n
- Supporting education and professional development within the wider clinical team.
n
- Helping shape and develop an innovative, patient-focused model of specialist psychiatric care.

Candidate Requirements

n

We are interested in speaking with Consultant Psychiatrists who have:

n

n
- Fellowship or Membership of the Royal Australian and Current Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
n
- Full prescribing rights relevant to psychiatric practice within Australia.
n
- Significant experience assessing and treating adults with ADHD.
n
- Strong understanding of evidence-based ADHD management.
n
- Previous experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or governance is highly desirable.
n
- Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.
n
- An interest in contributing to the development of modern specialist mental health services.
