The Role

n

Reporting
n to the Coordinator Transport Operations, you will assist with team supervision
n and undertake construction and maintenance activities and projects in
n accordance with Council's operations program.

n

About You

n

You will have
n team supervisory skills and experience and the ability to lead a team toensure construction and maintenance activities
n are undertaken and completed in accordance with Council's operations
n program. You will thrive in
n a team setting and be able motivate team members to perform efficiently whilst
n in a safe manner, ensuring WHS guidelines are followed.

n

n
- Certificate level qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience




n
- Extensive experience in construction and maintenance field
n
- Experience leading and supervising operational staff
n
- Ability to determine project requirements, including ability to interpret plans and execute work instructions
n
- Demonstrated experience in work management systems, planning processes and work prioritisation
n
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
n
- Physically capable/ fit to undertake the manual handling required in the role
n
- Valid Class MR Licence
n
- The right to live and work in Australia
n
- WHS General Construction Work in NSW
n
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
n
- Traffic Control and Traffic Management
