About Our School

St Charles Catholic Primary School Ryde is one of Sydney's oldest Catholic schools which began in 1858. It offers a rich and varied curriculum embedded in the Mercy tradition. We are a dynamic school that enjoys a wonderful reputation for academic excellence, a Positive Behaviour for Learning approach, Newman gifted accreditation and where every child is valued and known by name. About You
n
As a Classroom Teacher,
you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
n
n
- expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
n
- solid classroom management and student well-being focus
n
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
n
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
n
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
