The Role
Reportingto the Coordinator Transport Operations, you will assist with team supervisionand undertake construction and maintenance activities and projects inaccordance with Council's operations program.
About You
You will haveteam supervisory skills and experience and the ability to lead a team toensure construction and maintenance activitiesare undertaken and completed in accordance with Council's operationsprogram. You will thrive ina team workplace and be able motivate team members to perform efficiently whilstin a safe manner, ensuring WHS guidelines are followed.
- Certificate level qualifications in a relatedfield or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in construction andmaintenance field
- Experience leading and supervising operationalstaff
- Ability to determine project requirements, includingability to interpret plans and execute work instructions
- Demonstrated experience in work managementsystems, planning processes and work prioritisation
- Professional verbal and written communicationskills
- Physically capable/ fit to undertake the manual handling required in the role
- Valid Class MR Licence
- The right to live and work in Australia
- WHS General Construction Work in NSW
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Successful applicants will be required toundergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
