About the role

This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2029

The Licensing Program Lead supports the development, delivery and continuous improvement of road safety programs that improve licensing outcomes, including initiatives such as L2P and MyLearners. The role helps ensure programs meet policy objectives, informs business cases and funding proposals, and supports better road safety outcomes.

The position uses research, policy and evidence to design, monitor and evaluate programs, provides expert advice, and develops practical frameworks to improve program effectiveness. It also prepares high-quality briefings, communicates complex information clearly and works across stakeholders to support safe driving outcomes for young and inexperienced drivers.

Qualifications and experience

You’ll bring

- A tertiary qualification in Public Policy, Psychology, Public Health, Evaluation, Occupational Therapy or a related field (mandatory).
- Experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, as well as project and program management (desirable).
- Experience in youth development, behaviour and learning, with a current driver's licence, Working with Children Check, and willingness to undertake occasional after-hours work.
