The Prospect

n

PWR is growing rapidly, and we're expanding our Machine Shop team.

n





We're seeking experienced 3 and 5 Axis CNC Machinists (or 3+2 machining experience) to manufacture high-precision components for the Motorsport, Aerospace and Defence industries.

n

You'll have the opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment alongside a highly skilled team, producing complex parts that demand accuracy, quality and attention to detail.

n

- Day shift (6am- 2pm, Mon - Fri) - Overtime available, 9 day fortnight option
n
- Afternoon Shift (2pm–12am, Mon - Thurs) + Night shift loading
n

n

If you're an experienced machinist looking for modern equipment, interesting work, career progression and long-term stability, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Skills and Experience

n

n
- Experience using Mazak Variaxis and HAAS CNC milling machines would be advantageous, with Integrex lathe experience highly regarded. Alternatively, strong experience with similar machining centres will be considered.
n
- Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines, (or 3+2 )
n
- Good understanding of tooling selection and procedures.
n
- Verification and accuracy of component, recording results, reporting any issues.
n
- Time served machinist or equivalent recognised apprenticeship/experience.
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications and condition of supply.
n
- High level of detail orientation.
n
- Excellent communication skills and team player - be able to work well alongside others.
n
