Role Description This full-time Mechanical Fitter role is an in office position based in Mandurah, WA.

The Mechanical

Fitter will assemble, install, and fit mechanical components on water carts and service trucks, ensuring equipment is built to specification and industry standards. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, carrying out scheduled maintenance, and testing machinery to confirm safe and efficient operation. The role involves working with machining tools and workshop equipment, reading and interpreting technical drawings,



and collaborating with fabricators, engineers, and other team members.

The Mechanical

Fitter will also maintain accurate records of work completed, follow safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fitting and working with a range of Machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and the safe use of workshop tools and equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for mechanical systems.
- Relevant trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent apprenticeship completion.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety standards in workshop and field environments.
- Previous experience in mining, construction, or heavy vehicle/truck manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
