We are looking for a driven Mine Geologist for our underground operation in the North. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing technical team and further develop your underground geology career within a dynamic mining environment.

Reporting to the Senior Underground Mine Geologist, this role is responsible for providing geological support to underground mining operations on an 8/6 FIFO roster, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of ore.

This is more than a logging role. You'll be trusted to interpret geology, influence mining outcomes, and contribute to the success of a growing underground gold operation.

About the role?

- Deliver high-quality underground grade control and geological information.
- Map and interpret orebody geometry and structure
- Diamond drill core logging, face mapping, and sampling.
- Design and management of underground diamond drilling programs.
- Data validation, grade control, and geological reporting.
- Stope and development reconciliations.
- Core logging.
- Geological modelling using Leapfrog.
- Mentoring and supporting Graduate and Junior Geologists.




- Promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with site procedures.

About you:

- Degree in Geology (BSc or equivalent).
- Experience with geological logging, production mapping, and grade control.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safe work practices
- Experience in underground hard rock mining preferred
- Current WA Manual Driver's Licence
