The Role
We're looking for a passionate and creative Digital Communications Specialist to join our Communications team at our Sydney Head Office on Clarence Street.
Reporting to the Communications & Brand Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing our stories to life, strengthening employee engagement, supporting strategic business priorities, and helping build the reputation of Heidelberg Materials Australia and our associated brands.
This is a fabulous opportunity for a skilled communicator who enjoys creating engaging content, connecting with stakeholders across the business, and delivering campaigns that inspire, inform and engage.

About You
You're an energetic communicator who enjoys turning complex information into engaging stories and meaningful employee experiences.
Experience & Qualifications
3-5 years' experience in communications, employee engagement, public relations, marketing communications or a related discipline.
Degree or qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field is desirable.
Experience within construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or other operational industries will be highly regarded.
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Ability to develop engaging content across multiple channels and formats.
- Experience using digital communication tools, intranet platforms and social media channels.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design programs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with an understanding of engagement metrics and communication effectiveness.
- Passion for creating meaningful employee experiences and strengthening organisational culture.
