Job Description

A gentleman in his 40s is looking for new support workers to join his dedicated team. He has a close-knit circle of friends and family and enjoys live music events, weekly dinners at the RSL, watching the AFL, going out for coffee, social catch-ups, cooking, drumming and going to car shows and rallies. He is looking for support workers who will ensure he has a positive presence in his community and a life full of meaningful activities and relationships. While experience in disability support is beneficial, similar interests, good values and a positive fit are most important.

Key Duties:

n

Assist with Daily Living including personal care

n

Social and community engagement

n

In-home support and assistance with domestic tasks

n

Shifts Available:

n

Day Shifts 9am - 5pm

n

Overnights 5pm - 9am

n





Flexibility to pick up shifts when team members are on leave

n

*22 hours per week available to start for each new worker*

n

Pay Rates:

n

Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $39.50 per hour

n

Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $44.24 per hour

n

Saturday - $55.30 per hour

n

Sunday - $71.10 per hour

n

Public Holidays - $86.90 per hour

n

Sleepover allowance $90.00 per shift

n

Requirements:

n

NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)

n

Current Open Queensland Driver's Licence and own vehicle

n

Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)

n

Current Blue Card (working with Children check) (or willing to obtain)

n

Living within reasonable travelling distance

n

Rights to work in Australia
