We are seeking 2 x Project Support Officers to provide operational and project support within a agile demand and planning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced project administrators or project support professionals who enjoy stakeholder engagement, coordination and managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

The Opportunity
n
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the intake, triage and coordination of digital work requests, ensuring initiatives are appropriately assessed, prioritised and prepared for delivery.
n
Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will contribute to governance, reporting, planning and project assurance activities while supporting the successful delivery of critical program outcomes.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Coordinate and manage incoming requests through a centralised mailbox.
n
- Perform intake and triage activities for project, technical and business change requests.
n
- Support project governance, assurance and reporting processes.
n
- Liaise with stakeholders across business and delivery teams to facilitate effective engagement and coordination.
n
- Assist project leads with the preparation of project documentation, schedules and artefacts.
n
- Review and maintain program roadmaps and governance reporting.
n
- Monitor and coordinate release documentation and baselining activities.
n
- Prepare briefing papers, reports and other project communications.
n
- Support project lifecycle activities, including discovery and stage gate processes.
n
- Contribute to capacity planning and demand management activities.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
- Experience managing shared mailboxes and high volume correspondence.
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
n
- Sound judgement and the ability to identify, prioritise and elevate issues appropriately.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Experience monitoring workflows and maintaining accurate project records.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
n
- Proficiency across Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively while exercising initiative and autonomy.
n
- A customer focused approach and commitment to delivering high quality service.
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
- Demonstrated experience aligning to the responsibilities outlined in this advertisement.
n
- Hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
n
- Australian Government or project support experience will be highly regarded.
n
n
Contract Details

- Positions Available: 2

- Location: ACT

- Working Arrangement: Hybrid
n
- Contract Length: Initial 12 month contract
n
- Extension Option: 1 x 12 month extension
n
- Start Date: September 2026
n
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

- Level: APS6 equivalent
