Hours & Salary

n

16 hours per week on a rota basis. Pay: £13.45 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave pro rata. Start time around 10.30‐11.30 am and finish 5.00‐5.30 pm, with 30 minutes in the evening.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide personal care support and social support including assisting with meals.
n
- Use a 2:1 tracking hoist for patient transfer.
n
- Assist with evening preparation for bed.
n
- Cover other workers' holidays and be ready to cover on flexible or weekend shifts.
n
- Operate within Health & Safety guidelines, including manual handling, lifting techniques, first aid, PPE, and safe working practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

n

n
- Valid driving licence and reliable vehicle.
n




- Previous experience of using a 2:1 tracking hoist.
n
- Ability to treat others with dignity and respect.
n
- Outgoing personality with a willingness to get involved in activities.
n
- Willingness to cover shifts on short notice.
n
- Successful reference checks and a PVG enhanced disclosure.
n

Terms & Conditions

- Probationary period of 6 months.
n
- During probation either party can terminate employment with one week's notice.
n
- Position subject to reference and PVG checks; two up‐to‐date reference contacts required, one from a current or former employer.
