Senior Risk and Resilience Specialist – Perth CBD – Permanent Full-Time

Join Western Power's Enterprise Risk & Resilience team and play a key role in shaping the future of Western Australia's energy network. In this role, you will provide risk and resilience support across a portfolio of projects, helping to ensure the consistent application of risk management practices, identify and manage risk exposures, and support informed decision-making.

Your Role in Action
n
Act as Western Power's risk and resilience specialist, providing advice and guidance on project and enterprise risk management across a portfolio of projects.
n
n
- Provide risk and resilience advice and guidance to project teams, leaders and stakeholders across the business.
n
- Support the consistent application of risk management frameworks, processes and practices across a portfolio of projects.
n
- Identify, assess and monitor project and enterprise risk exposures, supporting the development of appropriate mitigation strategies.
n
- Lead the implementation and ongoing review of risk management and resilience frameworks and associated processes.
n
- Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate risk discussions, maintain risk registers and support risk reporting activities.
n

What Makes You a Great Fit
n
n
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Legal, Engineering, Risk Management or another relevant discipline.
n
- Extensive experience (10+ years) providing risk management advice within a complex project or business workplace.
n
- Strong project risk management knowledge and experience supporting projects through planning and study phases.
n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to gather information,
distil key risks and clearly communicate recommended actions.
n
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across technical and operational teams.
n
