About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant you’ll deliver outstanding customer service, create a positive shopping experience and support recent and expectant parents. Your passion for helping others and ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to understand the needs of new and expectant parents and provide personalized assistance and product recommendations.
- Demonstrate baby and child care products, highlighting features and benefits to guide informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring the store is well-presented and organized.
- Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Required Qualifications

- Prior customer service experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced workplace.
- High standards in customer service and store presentation.
- Skill in managing irate customers with empathy and professionalism.

Physical Requirements





Must be able to lift up to 15kg between floor and shoulder, 10kg above shoulder height, wear a headset for communication, and stand and walk for prolonged periods.
